A few shots before put in the garage...

Don’t leave us like that, give us a preview of what you got planned for winter work. LOL
Dash coming out upgrade the gauge limiter and install freshly restored quartz clock.
Install the NOS bumper guards front and rear.
Fix windshield leak drivers side top corner.
Install front sway bar ...car really needs it!!
I got new KYB gas a just shocks to install.
We will be doing a Mopar electronic ignition upgrade with a recurved distributor that I already have on the shelf.
Sure the pertronix works well but the advance weights in points distributor are sticky causing a flat spot and stumble.
The carb was rebuilt and razor tuned so we narrowed it down to the dizzy.

The low beams H4 bulbs and housings:
5-3/4" Round Conversion Headlamp Kit, High/Low Beam (ECE) 002850811
The H1 high beams I had to get as singles since the "kit" was on backorder.
5-3/4" Round Conversion Headlamp, High Beam (ECE) H11425011
You can order direct from Hella or Summit Racing.
Also try the numbers at a local parts jobber.
Hope this helps.
It really does!!! Im such a beginner with this whole restoration process that I am depending on you all to learn how to do the right things and WHY! I guess I could use a bit more clarification on a couple more points just to make surer I am doing the right thing... do I need anything special as far as relays or wiring goes when I switch to the hella conversion setup? Also, im not quite understanding the whole relay part of when you switch to LEDs for your blinkers, markers, and parking lights. Finally, is there a reason why you dont go with LED headlights as well? thanks so much for taking the time to answer these questions!!! stay well!!!

In this thread and in many others, I use the Putco plug n play headlamp harness with relays. No cutting or hacking of any wiring.

As for the LED turnsignals, they use so little power and their resistance so low that the traditional flasher will not work. The LED flasher works electronically and not on resistance. Truckers have been using the Grote flashers for years.
Hope that helps.

LED headlamps are nice but depending on what gets chosen more than likely the headlamp buckets need to be modified. Most of our old cars will not have the room behind the buckets to fit LED headlamps with their fat bases and cooling fans or bulky resistance ribbons, etc.

My goals are use modern lighting technology WITHOUT any butchering and still appear stock.
Also any load diverted away from a 50 plus year old wiring where flickering of headlamps and dash lights is almost non existant is a huge plus. Finally, the charging syatem is more effecient too.
Cheers

TY so much for the in depth explanations! As far as the Putco harness and relays.... I understand the reasoning for the need for the different LED relays but why new relays and harness for the headlights? Is it because the draw from the halogen bulbs is greater? Again, I’m learning. TY in advance!

The relay and harness diverts the high draw of the headlights from going through the bulkhead connector, amp gauge and then back out to the headlights. With the Putco harness and relays you will only be sending a low voltage signal to the relays taking all strain off of the original harness, bulkhead connector, amp gauge, headlight switch and dimmer switch.

We have owned the Fury for 2 years now.
Maggie and I have been using it and is a joy to drive.
Thanks to covid we had not been able to "show" the car.
In our area with no new cases, cruise nights are now allowed but still have to follow some protcols.
So tonight Maggie and I did a grand reveal at our local cruise nite show.
Glad to be able to mingle with car folks finally!
Maggie is very proud of her ride and does enjoy the comadarie.
Even the previous owner Johhny Morris showed up and very pleased on how well the car showed.

Wow! Almost a year and had to dig up this thread, LOL!
Since then I drove and showed the car at the C body show and Chicagoland Mopar shows where the car rolled over 100,000 miles along the way!
Frankie rolls over but did not die!
Last week we both went to the Syracuse Nationals where we hung out with friends and had a blast.
At the Syracuse Nationals
Frankie has become reliable car and getting decent gas MPG 19.5 highway to be exact.
In fact, Maggie has been driving the car more often because it is reliable and has a smooth ride!
