Meet Maggie May!

Way to go Lee!! The body looks very nice, except for the dutchman's panel which you've become an expert at fixing. Are you planning on just fixing what shows or will you strip it down and repaint? Have to start a Maggie thread.
:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Just fixing what is needed. No big resto needed here.
Masking off the car except the rear window/roof area.

Day two with Maggie May..
Drained the rotten gas out of the tank and removed from the car..
Sending the tank out for cleaning. A lot of crap was swishing around inside.
The trunk is mint!!

Maggie May has never been winter driven and the ultra heavy undercoating also helped preserve her.
Some belly pics..

Glad to see that your friend got distracted with other projects and basically stored the car for you until you were ready for it, even though that wasn't his plan. What a difference it makes when the car isn't driven in the salt too. You'll have that one whipped into shape in no time.

The convertible I bought for parts in the Sault had a 318 in it built by the same shop. I kept the tag, it was. 020 over with. 010 crank.

Pulled the back seat out and the highlight of the day is discovering the broadcast sheet!!

Agreed on all counts except... isn’t the present thread the Maggie thread?

The old master is actually intended for disc brakes.
We installed a new --not reman-- drum brake master.

Now Frankie has fully functioning brakes and they work great!!
Previous owner replaced all the shoes and wheel cylinders.
Shot of the boys celebrating after a job well done..
