Meet Ming, my 1973 New Yorker Brougham

Classic Tube in NY will make new hard lines in SS, pre-bent, including adding the rock guard where needed. At least they do for a '71.... calling them to ask works best because their catalog is a bit clunky.
The Right Stuff makes the correct lines. I have them on Medina, followed the advice of @sixpkrt and @saforwardlook

See here for part numbers.

Thanks I will give a call.
Turn the key teeth down. Dunno why its flipped. That's how it is though.
OK I will go give it a shot. Goes totally against my Mopar blood to put a key in GM upside down.

I think the passenger door is the right way.
The courtesy lamp doesn't work in the driver door and there is electrical tape on the harness in the door jamb. Someone's been in there. Maybe when it was repainted?

A light molestation occurred long in the past, it seems....

Or the reason for repaint.
I'll get it right. If I don't I won't be posting that.

As the year closes, here are some great photos of Ming that @Boydsdodge took at Moparfest this past August and that he has kindly shared with me. Ain't she beautiful?
