I think Dave has Spinnaker White in mind when he says he hates white and I agree with him. SPINNAKER White is a horrid off-white that only looks good under showroom spotlights.
GM Arctic White. Now that's a true white!

Once upon a time, I needed some Spinnaker White touch up for our '66 Newport Town Sedan. The small local dealer would have to order it. I figured "they're all the same", so I got some from a larger Ford dealer, their Wimbledon White. It was too creamy. Then I got a tube of GM white, "refrigerator" white, which next to the Chrysler white, had a blue tint. All "white", but different shades of white! Just like the current LED, compact fluorescent, and incandescent light bulbs!

The Spinnaker White is a nice white. But it DOES depend upon bright chrome trim and (later) factory pin stripes to match the interior color) to look good. AND being slick and shiny helps!

This is a spitting image of the last company lab car that I ordered during my time at Chrysler. I truly loved that car as well, more than the 300. If I ever see a Cordoba like this one in really nice shape, I would get it.

Saw one on the www.streetsideclassics.com website a few weeks ago. A beige Cordoba, similar to what's pictured. Unmolested, as I recall.

I had good success blending Wimbledon White in with the Spinnaker.

Add color to any of those white cars and they have character . Just because something is in nice shape doesn't mean it has character.

The car that started this thread is really nice and looks right imo. My dad had one of these in maroon and white back in the day and I’ve always loved them. They went pretty far into making the simulated ragtop look legit. This one is for sale.

The owner was very nice. He mentioned they took a trip to Maine in it recently and had no issues.
