The photo of her leaning over the driver is a 1969, the car in the block&white picture above is a 1968, completely different dash and consoles between the two years.

That makes sense. I'm just not that familiar with '68-69 Mustangs other than to say that it looked like a Mustang interior.

That's a good and valid point, but methinks it wasn't just looks or lungs. I sorta knew her in the 80's, and she was simply "out there" with personality, love of car people, great media for her sponsors/customers, huge self-confidence....and this was started in the 60s when "proper women" stayed home and kept their breasts covered. Meaning....men loved her, car men even more.

To me, she's kinda the Dolly Parton of the car world. Bigger than life.

I am sure that is all very true, but the vast majority of people who love Linda Vaughn never talked with her. So, it's the attraction I don't get... beyond the obvious. But as was said earlier, I'll talk lovely Raquel any day!!

I never used the word ugly, I said she was not that attractive - in MY OPINION. While I do like the first picture, I'd run away from the woman in the second.

Taste is personal. I've never been a fan of Marilyn Monroe either.

Hi David. I mean "the very same one" somewhere in that grouping. Possibly!

I intend to be there, assuming Mecum holds the event and assuming the airlines are still flying. But I suspect they'll cancel just as many other venues have been doing today.
