Modern engine in an old c-body?

you will have some serious issues and spend a ton of money to get the newer automatics to work and it may never work right. Head over to FBBO or FABO and look at their new Hemi Swap forum. The newer automatics out of the cars rely on speed sensors and other equipment to get them to shift. The saving grace on the new hemis is they use the small block bolt pattern. So you have other choices for transmissions.

YES! I WOULD put a /6 just like that one in the right C-body just to hear guys say:
"I had one just like that except it was a 327 Hemi."
.

As I always say "Effort to Gain" How much will all this cost you? What is the expected outcome? What is the return?

Some people love to customize, it is the love of the hunt that might be the gain. Some people like the wow factor when people see it at shows. But if it is about money, do the math.

Often people come up with some crazy conversion to maybe save on gas, but the payback would probably take 10+ years.
