In my dyno tests on a 496 wedge the Victor intake didn't start making more torque than the RPM intake until 5,000 rpm. And then it only averaged about 8 lb-ft. I guess it depends on what rpm you will spend most of your time. With the engine size, head and cam combination, the peak horsepower is going to come well below 6,000 rpm. I pretty much agree with Moper except that I insist on bushing the hydraulic roller lifter bores and find the solid rollers don't need bushed bores. Mor'in one way to skin a cat.
The upper rear shock mount was never meant to a suspension point. Bad idea to use springs on the shocks back there.
