My fav is an all aluminum LS7 vette engine and manual trans in a nissan 240SX
Looks like that ones even got a "GASP" delco alternator.Okay, so is this right or wrong? I for one can really dig this, but it's a Mopar in a Ford!View attachment 120822
Depends. If it's an original, from the factory body, then better to put a Ford engine in it, if it's a fiberglass reproduction, then it's not really a Ford as such, more like a kit car and any V8 engine is fine. Besides, Hot Rods and Customs are unique in their own way and no rules apply as far as originality. What's a hot rodder supposed to put in his '41 Willys?, the original, under-powered and unreliable motor or a crate Hemi?, not hard to choose. Hot Rods are cool.Okay, so is this right or wrong? Those are Mopar Small Block Valve covers. That Alternator is not.I know what you're saying, BJ, but I think this fool actually did it.

Yep, didn't notice but that is the standard Motorcraft alternator. I have six of them in stock depending on the year needed.
