this Imperial belongs to my friend Ebby.
It is a california car and was originally F3 green (called surf green met by Imperial).
Got a repaint in NL many moons ago, car is since the early 90s in europe.

It's just a rackety '71 Sport Fury four-door hardtop (I wish it was a GT!) that was never shy of making contact to other objects and has a faible for oxidation in certain areas. But it's very reliable and well equipped (window lifts, cruise control, power driver's seat, power locks, remote trunk opener, headlight washer, among other options). Most important, though, it has a lot of history mostly due to the previous owner and that's why it means a lot to me. The car was sold new in Switzerland and has a kph-speedometer.
Jeeez, Julian, why didn't you nudge me in the side to keep me from getting talked to by total strangers about issues I don't really care about? :icon_wink:

Hey, Carsten or Julian, do you guys know of a black '76 New Yorker wagon from Sweden that has an Imperial front clip on it? It was at the '90 Cologne event. Somewhere, I have pics of it from the day. I was curious if it was still around.
I see German, Dutch, Belgian, and Luxembourg license plates - looks like a great turnout for the show! With German reunification and the resulting changes in the license plates, it is harder to tell where some of the cars are from! I recognize Essen, Darmstadt, and Cologne, but the others are much more difficult.
I'm glad to see you guys had a successful show!

But your licenseplate (and Carsten) reminded me that you are from Bad Homburg, and that Neu-Anspach isn't very far away. Unfortunately this wagon was not present this year. I would love to see such a conversion!
There were a lot of cars all over germany and its neighbors. A lot of plates from the ruhrpott area around the nats as well as plates from further away, like munich or hamburg. Amazing to see that much Cs right here in my dooryard!

It has been around in the late 80s early 90s but I haven't seen it in the last 20+ years anymore.
It came from southern germany.
Lots of dutch Mopars at the show, some Luxemburgers and guys from Belgium. We had three cars from Finnland, too

I faintly remember a black mid-seventies B-body station with a narrowed '72 Imperial front clip. A ridiculous contraption. I saw it in 2002 or so at a dealer in northern Bavaria.

Here are scans from some analog pictures. That were taken in the dark. Of a black car. Uh... great.
The paint on the car was rough, as was everything else. The engine played a well-known R&B tune ("I hear you knockin'"). Asking price was an astounding EUR 9,999. It was pathetic. But like passing a traffic accident, I had to look...

Yes, that is the car I was thinking of! It had a narrowed Imperial front clip, which was pretty cool in theory, but rough in the execution!

Is this a car that just arrived in Germany recently? It looks a lot like the coupe that was for sale in Los Angeles a couple months ago. I don't remember if I posted a link to it, or someone else did, but if it's the same car, we discussed it here. Good looking car.
