I had a wonderful day at Nats. I met up with Dave 70 bigblockdodge and his family. Super nice people they invited Goldie to squeeze into their area. His sister has a beautiful plum crazy cuda. Saw Ross Stormer he drove the pimpermoble that car is bad ***. I talked to Detroit Matt, he was working so no Imperial.

Will upload more later.

I never did hear how Stormer feels about the EFI in his 72...maybe he's having too much fun driving to report on it!

I talked to Ross briefly about EFI and he said he was very happy with it.

Hi,
is the 71 NY a factroy FY1 yellow car?
Do you have a pic of the fender tag?

Carsten

The 66 300 I followed into Nats and was side by side with him. It was a young couple from Pittsburgh with 2 young kids in the back. Nice to see another generation loving our cars.

Nice to see you guys. I looked for Matt but never found him. We watched racing all day & didn't even look at cars.

EFI is fantastic but I think I have a vapor lock issue when it's hot outside. I used the charcoal canister vent outlet on the tank for the return fuel line so maybe I just need a vented gas cap.

Good to see you Ross, the friend that was with me loved your car, said it was his favorite. I am turning him into a Mopar guy, he has been coming every year since I have been driving Goldie.

The Pimperial TM (your welcome Klaus) is awesome, better in real life I wish I could take that to the beach next week instead of our 300m. Goldie is a stunning car, and makes me really want a slab again. It is a busy weekend. Good to see everybody again and met Ross finally. Made it home with my leaky water pump and cardboard insulators on the alternator brush retaining screws. Leaking more and more this is about 15-20 min after getting home and the mess.IMG_20150809_161020_903.jpgIMG_20150809_161056_310.jpg

The people that run National Trail need to go to Carlisle and Norwalk's Summit Raceway park and see how a show is done. More trash barrels and more or at least spread out what the porta johns, putting 20 of them with a porta john trailer in the same spot makes for a really stinky area and inconvenient, rant over and I will be back next year.
