Mopar Oil Filter

If you are using an indicated PFL400A filter, the whole filter is narrower than the OEM filter, but make sure the gasket is in the same place as the OEM. That's all that functionally matters.

On the other hand, the "short" Chrysler filter should work just fine. Like came on my '80 Newport 360 OEM. I got the Mopar Performance right-angle adapter to point the bottom of the filter forward so that the long Chrysler OEM oil filter (as Motorcraft FA-1A) fits fine. Probably try a B/RB oil filter for a late '70s application, where the short filter was needed as when they relocated the power steering pump (due to the AIR pump use), the power steering belt went where the long filter used to be.
