There is a show called CEVS (chicagoland emergency vehicle show) that goes on every 1st weekend of augest. Is one of the biggest gatherings of police cars in the country.

I LOVE mopar police cars. I've attended a couple times, and am debating on going to this show, or carlisle this year. Anywhase, here are some pics from previous shows. I'd say its about 85% mopar. They do a "lights and sirens" parade the night before the show starts. That is a very cool experience. Sirens get old quick, but still fun.

Love Mopar Police cars, a friend used to own a Montana Highway patrol unmarked '78 Fury 440 car, had plates "440 Fury", had to sell it to send his daughter to university. Have another friend Mark who has a Documented '72 Polara CHP Car, he bought it from the CHP officer who purchased it before it went to auction.

All the same event. Some pics are at the actual show, some of the parade and parade staging, and some at the hotel we were staying at. These are the older pics i have. Have some newer ones, but pretty much the same cars.

Nice! What show is this? Where and when? Is there a website for it? Tht would be interesting to go see.

Awesome photos. How long did you have to wait to get that photo with the bridge up? Did you get any Shrimp and see the photos at the seafood shop? Really cool isn't it how close the church is to the bridge.

A friend drove this '68 Satellite Adam12 car to a Mopar drag event, and my cousin and I drove it home late that evening and a car pulled up from behind and swiftly blew by us at about 10-15 mph over the speed limit. I told my cousin to throw on the lights, and with a chuckle, he did. The car quickly pulled over onto the shoulder, and we killed the cherries and just drove past him. He followed behind contently for about 10 miles until we approached town in the street lights, then he pulled up beside us and his girlfriend in the passenger's seat looked to be in tears laughing and pointing at her boyfriend. I have no clue how you can pass a car and not notice it is a wee bit out of the ordinary.... Who pulls over for a 40 year old cop car? :shruggy:
