Mopar vs. foreign iron (sniff).

I was only in Paris a couple hours when I heard this coming up the Champs-Élysées, I didn't need to look to know what was inbound.

I rented a F430 for my friend for the weekend 2 years ago. The car was a riot to drive even tho just a V8 car. The cool part was it was not stock, the place had a few tuner parts on it and was much quicker then stock. We beat the hell out of that car. The interior was pretty blah but over all nice car. Id never really want to own one, a weekend was enough. However handeling was incredible, really had to push it hard to shake it loose.

Motorists....

first automobiles were electric.. motorists..

"The history of the electric vehicle began in the mid-19th century. An electrical vehicle held the vehicular land speed record until around 1900. The high cost, low top speed and short range of electric vehicles, compared to later internal combustion vehicles, led to a worldwide decline in their use."

Not too much has changed in near 200 years...

That is neat, the bulk of my Ferrari experience is with a few 512TRs & a 512BB.

On cars in general, some have such distinct sounds that are almost unmistakeable. The Viper pictured above, a VW bug, a Subaru WRX, and a Mustang GT all come to mind.

It's not just about sound... as Colin Chapman said..add lightness... I love my Chryslers for one reason and my Lotus for another. My Lotus handles like an F 1 car, with sound, speed and agility, do I love it? Yes... but, I also love the ride of my C-bodies too! If I had to take a 4 hour trip down the interstate it's giddy up with the c-body.... If it's through the mountains of north-central PA... It's one of the sports cars. I'm just very lucky to be able to enjoy all kinds of cars!

Had a Tesla pass me the other day, cool looking car. I wish I could tell you what it sounded like but there was too much noise from my 6in straight stacks and Cummins N14.

You will only hear the tire noise. I wonder how the heat is in one? A straight sewer pipe exhaust Pete sounds great as well. How bad is it in the cab, after a few miles though? I had the factory straight exhaust on the military semis with the Cummins, and it was ear plug not enough loud. I really wanted this one, but it sold for 32k. V12!!
