Old Man with a Hat
Walker makes a OEM style muffler, 25" long and fits great. Great sound in the back, quiet from inside the car. I've got a pair on my 69 300.
I tried those Walker OEM mufflers and don't like them. They sound like a chevy drowning in the lake. I am going to try the super turbos next.
These are Summit Racing turbo mufflers
And these are Dynomax Super Turbos (disragard PCV valve whistle)
Nice car, but too loud for a C body. The first one reminds me of a tractor.

I guess, mine are the short ones with rolled ends about 14" body I think maybe it is the difference between 440 and 400 mine sounds more like your second video. Our builds are not that far apart except compression ratio.I think the exhaust sound will be different because of parts combination - compression ratio, cam, exhaust pipe diameter, h-pipe, etc. Not sure..
How long are the mufflers?
Oh Yea that,s probably it.Probably had a chevy motor. Mine are nice and quiet, with just a hint of rumble out the back, Like a C body should sound.

Since walker has a few different "OE style" Which ones did you get?
Neither, mine are an older style OEM replacement muffler that had been on the shelf for a long time, not stainless, which makes a difference in the tone. I also have a balance tube in my system which eliminates the harsh "pop-pop" sound at the tail pipe.
