I hope you can breath under that convertible top!!! Can't see you at all.

As a lot of you know, this has been a very tough year for me. This car has been very therapeutic.

The better part of the last 9 months being used as a basically a shelf while the 71 New Yorker was getting worked on, last weekend she came out of hibernation after an oil change to strech her legs .
Cruised out to Rockford and tucked in the this well known shop, just beating a storm that quickly blew over. Then back on the road we went.
After 15 years, this one does it for me everytime.

I worked nights and weekends all through high school, with a plan to buy a new car after graduation. My parents went along with it, with the understanding it was entirely my responsibility. That was 41 years ago.
Always cherished it, it is all original, 107k miles. Now it’s my ‘time machine’.
Go driving, listen to ‘70s music, and temporarily get away. 1979 road runner.

Boring! What could be fun about “polish and drive”, LOL! My therapy has always been ripping into some rusty decrepit part and brining it back to life. Still working towards that first drive, and getting close.....
