My 1970 Chrysler Newport :D

Beautiful Car. I also own a 1970 Newport. Mine is a convertible with bench seats, also in need of getting reupholstered. My car is the same exterior blue with blue vinyl bench seats. When you decide who and how you are going to get your seats done, lets talk - maybe we can work out a deal with someone to do two seat packages. I can be reached at 7027423736.
@Lawrence Birke -- is yours an FQ3 or FQ5 turquoise, or an EB3 or EB5 blue? Would've to see you post the fender tag of your 1970 Newport 'vert on the Last Convertibles thread!

Now that I have read through this I was wondering what the original color was on @BAD69FURY car.

Great looking car. Any updates?

Hi guys, I’ll find out for sure what my factory color was when I can verify the tag. My car has been repainted in a color that is not factory I think. It’s sort of a turquoise/blue metallic. I love how she reads in the sun, really pops! I have found evidence under the hood and jambs of the original color and looks to be Ice Blue Irid B3

I’ve done a lot of updates on the car over the past couple of years. I had the engine rebuilt, overhauled my suspension with factory disc brakes, reupholstered the seats, new tires, rims, new grant steering wheel, new steering gear box and maybe a couple other small things. The next thing I’m tackling is to replace the gas tank, starting to see some leakage on the old one. I bought a spectra CRB20 tank. Here’s a few pics to show some of my updates.

Oh man!! That baby looks sweet!! Love that color, even if it's not an original, it does seem to pop even on my computer screen.

The fender tag will say what the original color was. B3 makes sense though as it would blend good.
