That's an interesting idea. Did the "media" get everywhere inside the car? All I know, whenever I've spot blasted something, I ended up cleaning up media out of every possible area, high and low, in my garage. I'd be worried the same would happen with a car that is otherwise completely together

No, the Media Blaster taped and used plastic just like a Auto Body Shop. Zero for problems.

About 14 years ago I had my 1970 Fury III ex-WSP squad media blasted. He did all except the underside. That time there was clean up inside etc to be done.

Huh? Wha? Oh... I had a '66 Imperial the summer I did that work. Good eye.

They're not asking about what they see ahead, they're asking about what they see behind (and I hope that's not a pun).

If the "light" surface rust scares anyone....

Not to discount anything Pete said, but anyone really scared by that surface rust should exit stage-left from vintage cars.
