My 1971 Sport Fury GT, what to do, what to do.

That's why you put a reserve on the car before the auction and negotiate what day it goes through when you consign the car.
So you’re more likely to be taking it back home with you....

Yea that's what I thought auctions were when I was younger, (to get rid of stuff at whatever cost).
I was soon to learn that they are someone's idea of the Lottery office. :wideyed:

I’m hoping the car isn’t sold yet. What are you asking for it? I just finished my 71 Sport fury which is GF7 aswell.

I want a GT and I’ve been watching your car for some time... how big of a rush are you to sell?

Guys thanks for all the feedback and also ideas of value, and while it is certainly more than I thought, I also am thinking I will hold onto it for now. The money would be tempting and making some space also would help me a bit too, but i think what I will do is wait until I have finished my S23 and see how I feel. I wont keep both cars, but having the GT here to drive occasionally while I'm rebuilding the S23 is cool too.
Stay tuned on the S23 thread as I will get stuck into it again soon. Cheers guys!

Unless you are in need of money, exactly the minute after you sell your car you will start to regret it. Unless of course you made a profit, wanted to move onto something else, and or maybe just tired of all the meticulous work it takes to keep these old girls looking young.
