My 2018 RAM Longhorn

Bob, It is the brilliant black, monotone. Costs extra for that paint in Longhorn. I did not want the two tone paint. The Sport package is a black out, but does not have all of the options I wanted. (really would like the black out, and may swap out the grill for the Sport black out) I thought about the interior package that you have, but ordered the black with saddle tan, so the interior has tan leather similar to the Ford "King Ranch". The leather is like saddle leather. A lot of other interesting things on the truck. It rides exceptionally well for a 3/4 ton. Pleasantly so. I am kind of hijacking your post.
Regards, Clark

Interesting to see peoples varying opinions . To me the two tone is much more pleasing to look at than the monotone .

I've been driving for almost 50 years and this is the first 2 tone painted vehicle I ever had. First one that ran on less than all cylinders when cruising. And a first for a ton of other stuff too. This truck has so many gadgets that i'll still need a 10 year old just to discover all of them. My 21 year old nephew (Jethro) is the one tbat told me that this truck is the "Special Edition" Southfork truck. He noticed it from 1000 miles away by looking at the dealer internet ad for the truck. Lol.

A lot of special and limited edition stuff out there. Isn' t every SE Challenger a special edition ?
Perhaps your truck will be one of those Texan like trucks parked in a field, found in 40 years.

Ah!! I can smell the leather and the new car smell from here!!! They should make that smell into cologne for us.. just say’en

I can only hope that whoever finds my truck in 40 years will enjoy it as much as I do today....

I hope whoever has my 69 SuperBee and my 73 Ralleye Challenger that I had 47 and 45 years ago is enjoying those beauties today as much as I did.

Hopefully both of them are still alive. I still look for them at Carlisle, C/L, EBay, B-J, Mecum's, and every car show in the Midwest.

I wish they made an air freshener that actually smelled like leather and new car! LOL!

That's what I liked about my TRX (changed to Sportsman). It just gave it better look with the different lower and flares. Yes, I know it's short.

I'm at Zeibart right now. Getting the undercoat, rust prevention, paint protection, and the interior protection package.

I had the front door windows tinted to match the tint on the rear doors. I can see great out of it and it looks good from the outside too.

They only bother you in Maryland when you are racing on the street or causing trouble with your vehicle.

A tint that dark is not legal here. Our LEOs have their light meter with them and will issue tickets for that.
The one instance where I saw a sheriff use those, he had no idea what he was doing. He first off told us he could see me not using my seat belt on the passenger side, through the rear window, which can be black as night. He had to test the window three times, each time getting more light passing through than needed, and then when he wasn't sure how to prove anything, he let us go. I questioned him the entire time, and he didn't like when I asked him if he was sure what he was doing. Even asked if we needed another deputy. Then asked if it's too dark, how'd he see through it? He was just trying to screw with some high school kids for an easy ticket. I've gotten crap for other cops with other vehicles, but never a ticket.

The Highway Traffic Act is very clear about it in Alberta.. no opaque material is allowed of any kind on windows forward of the drivers shoulder. We get customers asking us to have it done on their purchases all the time so we have them sign an indemnity agreement which states we told you it is illegal.
