My 2018 RAM Longhorn

The brillint red pearl really pops when the sun hits it. Camera or photographer problems as usual. It looks even better with eyeballs on it. Made a hell of a difference when I came out of the hospital today as saw the difference in the bright sun!

Carsten would call it brown

I had to do a double take and check the license plate to make it was my truck when I came out of the hospital. The difference in the paint in the bright sunshine made that big of a difference and I've only been in and out of the truck during darkness (morning and evenings) so far. BTW, I've tried getting into a Titan in a parking lot in a shopping mall that wasn't mine.

Graham, anything besides the first 300 mile break in procedures. I want to make a couple of 1/4 mile passes at my local dragstrip on March 2nd.

do you feel like you are really 'driving' the truck?

go drive an old car, then hop in the truck and compare the 'feels' you get.

what I mean - is - in my truck (2015 ram) sure I'm turning the wheel and pushing the pedals - whatever. but to me it feels 'disconnected' - like when braking, the computer is braking, I'm not. and its all the time shifting and going in/out of eco mode etc.

I don't know how to describe it.

I liked my 2010 nitro better.

and the new shifters are stupid. I have the knob + manual shift on the wheel like what was shown in above pic ^^. its HARD to put your hand there unless you are going in a straight line. as soon as you turn the wheel you cannot shift. who the F designed that?

At least the Big trucks still have the shifter lever, even though theyre not mechanical, it still feels better than the knob . I hate the four wheel drive on a knob, I want the floor shifter
I kid you not, thats why I bought my 01, I wanted a solid axle 4x4 with a manual shift lever for my T case...But I didn't want to have to do a Commercial safety annually, which meant I needed it in a 1/2ton.

15.5 ET @93 mph.

I'll have to see how close I can get to that.
