I was talking about the car. Thanks Stan!

See what happens when you use poor sentence structure? :D

My last Friday off before we go back to 5 day work week. Decided was time to cleanup bottom side. My "jig" worked out well. Taped plastic on sides, borrowed a wet/dry vac to catch water as it accumulates. Really helped with getting the 100 year old undercoating off, and did nice job on brakes lines and rear brakes.

Coolio and thanks. We have the same power washer it looks like

I know I tried to power wash a kframe that has 46 years worth of dried oil and grunge on it and accomplished nothing but getting soaked. The car washes must have less pressure and definitely have a less aggressive tip so they don't strip paint.

It was a huge benefit being able to be under the car to do it. I was surprised how much dirt that came out of the frame holes...bet I gained 1/10 of second in 1/4 from weight loss alone....

Geez Louise....some of this Mopar stuff is a pita....not that any of my Poncho stuff wasn't...

got left lower control arm out, bushing pressed out and press back on shaft. Took a quick google search to figure out how to remove bushing sleeve from CA, welded a washer on, then pressed on out...still was not all that easy. On to the other side.

Are you going to weld some gusseting material on onto that now that it's out? PST has a pretty good video on that

Here's the video. I don't know if they make these for C bodies or if the ones they do have can be used on the C body LCA but maybe they wouldn't be to difficult to fab?

Super!! Yes, would be prudent to do this mod while I have it apart. Will be able to put new plasma cutter to good use...many thanks for posting!!

Gas tank is almost ready for install, underbody area is ready for it. Replaced rear shackle bushings on left side, ordered new rear brake line...slow but steady...

Not sure if I just got lucky or doing it the 2nd time, but the lower bushing came out waaaaay easier this time, very happy about that. Ball joints are in, waiting for upper BJ socket to arrive get front end put together then start prepping for paint...

Slow going this weekend...could be the 99° temp? :sunny: ....could be worse, humidity is usually around 80%.

Finally got the other rear shackle bushings in, rear brake line, slipped a SS hose sleeve over fuel line, like the way it looks so need to order more to finish that off. Time for a little porch time and a beverage then work on front end.
