Hey all...newbie here and a C Body rookie. I have procured a deal on a 65 Sport Fury. 383 Golden Commando, auto on the floor, bad transmission, missing only the bumpers. Needs trunk sides and trunk drops/extensions...and some TLC..... OK a lot of TLC. Originally red with a white top. Red interior. Looks like 129,000 miles. Has all the trim including the emblems, fender ribs, side moldings and trunk finish panel. The inside has never been disassembled. The car runs smooth as glass the owner says. $700 What do you all think? I will try to get some pics up. I have been dying for another Mopar after having to sell my 69 Charger last year. Any and all opinions and info is greatly welcomed!

If you have photos saved to your PC, hit the "Go Advanced"(at the bottom right of the quick reply box), scroll down to upload pictures and upload from there. You'll need a Photobucket account or something similiar to upload and post the larger pictures that you see on some other threads.

Welcome by the way!

Welcome !!!!!!!!!!!! :eek:ccasion14:

Lets see some pictures and we can give you an idea or our input on your new acquisition. However $700 seems good for almost any good running car never alone a Classic C-Body !!!!!!!! :3gears:

Welcome! Hard to argue with $700! Even if it needs some TLC.

Welcome to the site from the Motor City!

Welcome aboard. Go for it you should be able to locate some bumpers, the shipping might be a killer.

Well....still trying to figure out the pic thing. Although I am using a smart phone

Yeah, keep at it. Love to see some pics. I think the jury is out on the $700 price tag for a 65' Sport Fury w/ gc 383, but we'll know better when we can get eyeballs on pics.

Still trying to figure out the pic thing? I made a photo bucket account. But can't yet figure out how to get a Pic over here. Using a Motorola droid if that helps

I have been Into Mopars for 30+ years and can't believe I overlooked these great cars all that time. Been doing a lot of reading and picture looking. Very cool stuff.

As you can see that trunk area needs some serious work but I am guessing any 65-66 two door Fury will have the same sheet metal in that area. I have relatives in Texas to help locate/buy/store a donor car

So many overlook C's because of a myth or they are afraid of what others might say, even though they are a closet C body lover
