Freshly painted c-body on a rotisserie, definitely car ****. Beautiful work.
Hey, I think I've got a trunklid that color...
WOW. I, being newer to the forum, just caught onto this thread. Amazing work, man.

I'm not scheduled for retirement till 2040. However, between my "real job" and my other endeavors (carpentry/custom fabrication/restoration -- all proceeds go directly to savings/investment) and the crazy assed hours I pull, I should be able to dial that back a few years.... I can't imagine what exactly will change with retirement, but I look forward to it.Yeah, I kinda just saw it myself.
I also get Stan's statement about early planning for retirement, which I've done since very early on... and now when it's 6.845 years away, I'm starting to feel the "love" from those who made different choices in life.

No wonder it looks so small. Forgot what I was looking at. Still car ****.Euhmm ,.......forgot your glasses......???
Generally, anything in fresh finish is **** to me. .. from CBodies to Tractors to Cabinets. No wonder it looks so small. Forgot what I was looking at. Still car ****.
Ugh. That just reminded me I have to come back out and finish getting the hardest trunk floor to remove ever out of the green car.....I know what car that came from!

Why did you mask it?
Yes it's going back stock. the original Hemi is long gone but the owner has a date correct one to put in it.
On a 68 having a date correct engine is as good as having the original, it is impossible to tell otherwise. They didn't start putting the VIN on the engines till 69.What's worse, not having its original engine or not being the original colour?, a combination which will lower its value quite a bit, I'd imagine. Other than that, it's going to be a killer car when finished.
