Another Thing to think of is gas tank Ventilation. Only through the cap with These models or do you have an open vent line hanging around down there ?
I think they may scrape concrete when I pull into cabin driveway so I plan on having shop make adjustments. I don't want to lose any fingers or blow up my garage.

Shop said no problem...they will trim it up to my liking next week.

I still got all my fingers after 30 years of Body work, about two years on a daily Basis. It's not that dangerous, but if the shop does it anyways you may grind the teeth of the mechanic for compensation.

i have used sawzall also and it works well. What I’ve used most is a hacksaw, before I had any fancy tools! Hacksaw works great.
A little over dramatic, but I understand... a saw will work nicely.
Done that when I was younger... now folks get the wrong impression...
I would cut of the bottom lip to make them look neater..., but that’s me.
