Picked this up this week to make a cool driver. Was being restored but the owner passed away. It's partially disassembled but complete with a lot of mechanical work done. Engine runs and appears to have been rebuilt. New brake lines and wheel cylinders on all four so I assume brakes are done. All glass is good and body is straight with just some very minor rust down low. Floors and trunk floor are perfect. Extra grilles and trim. The two negatives are the interior needs everything and the bumpers are not great. The dash pad is perfect though. I'm not planning on making it perfect and being way upside down in it, just a fun ride to drive and enjoy. It will probably be a few months before I really get going on it as I have a few customer jobs that need to get done first. Plus I will most likely sell my 69 Monaco to fund and make time for this project. Here's some pictures.

Nice car! Considering that I've seen some Cadillacs of that era with Mark IV under-dash air conditioners, one of those units with a modern Sanden kit under the hood might still look good.

Nice 62! It will be a fun and cool looking driver! Congratulations!

I just got four tires that hold air on the 64 Imperial I'm bringing home this Friday. My interior needs a lot of work as well! Arizona sun is hard on interiors! Yes, only in Arizona do you a heater (occasionally) in the morning and AC in the afternoon and that's only in the winter! Heat here is dry like sticking your head inside a lit oven (not recommended, just a good comparison)!

Especially once he has it stripped down and on the rotisserie
Now Peter I'm very sure It won't get that involved. I'm too old and slow for that. Besides I do have a 70 AAR cuda on a rotisseries coming in. Probably gonna be my last rotisserie restoration I'll ever do. :stop:
