My new 70 Hurst

Thanks guys! I am looking forward to fixing her up. Just not looking forward to the hunt for every little item since very little is available aftermarket.

Yea he still does. It is restorable in my opinion. It needs work but due to the limited number of them I think it would be worth it.

So does he still have the rougher car?

I will be going over to Dale's tomorrow to take new pictures of the remaining Hurst car. He has decided to sell it. If anyone here is interested let me know and I will get you in touch with him.

Well its been a while since my last post. Today a friend of mine and I tried to fire the old girl up. After checking the fluids, I put a new battery in, disconnected the fuel line and ran a temporary electric fuel pump to a 5 gal can of gas. I told my friend to turn on the pump and I turned the ignition. She whirled over a few times and came to life. The motor ran pretty good for not having run in many years. Next step is to do a real tune up and start fixing the brakes and exhaust. I hope to take her for a spin this fall.
