I traded in my '15 Charger R/T Road and Track Edition on this beauty yesterday.

2015 Jaguar F-Type Convertible, Certified Pre Owned with 12,000 miles on the clock; 36 month/10K mile per month lease for not much more than I was paying on my Charger. I love it.

I was very surprised by the performance of the 340hp Supercharged V6. The added Switchable Active Exhaust makes the motor really growl. 0-60 time is the same as my Charger, plus it handles.

I´m not into modern cars at all designwise, but Jaguar did impress me with their latest models, the F type as well
as the 4 door sedan ( no idea what it´s called ) .. I really like that one, congrats

Jaguars are increasingly beautiful cars and much better built than in the past. Their ownership now is somewhat complex, but I think it is owned by an Indian company named Tata but their vehicles are manufacturered since 2014 in China by the Chery automotive group (not sure all of their vehicles are made in China though?). It is hard to figure out just where new vehicles of any make are built these days. But for sure, the world is certainly changing.

What made you switch from the Chargers to a sports car such as this one. Are you approaching mid-life yet you young buck?! :poke:

Enjoy!

Well Steve, truth be told, it was Dana's idea. She said, "We should trade your car in on a 2 seat convertible." The choice was easy for me as I've always liked the F-Types since their launch in 2014. This particular car was an easy choice given its low mileage and Certified Pre Owned status. The warranty will cover 30 of the 36 month term but I can opt for an extension any time prior to the warranty's termination

Should have got the coupe, oh wait you live where a convertible makes sense. I would have still bought a coupe, but that's me, very nice.

Why is it “OK” to get another car, when THEY say it’s OK, but if we even ask about one!!! We wind up sleeping on the couch. LOL :BangHead:

I like the coupes too but all the Coupes I ran across had substantially more mileage than the car I got. Besides, a Jag ‘vert in SoCal makes sense.

I’ll probably do the same thing when my Charger lease is up. I’m looking at a BMW vert. or the Jag. This is my 3rd Charger or 300 and i’m really getting tired of the harsh ride. And the girlfriends bitchin about it!

I was on my 3rd Charger as well; '07, '12 & '15. Overall, they are great cars and I had zero issues with all of the three. When she test drove it, the wife commented the Jaguar rode smoother than the Charger and I have to agree.

You guys just wait until you get to the age you can't slide in and out of them anymore. Enjoy they now.

Gorgeous! Love the F-Types. I've owned 3 Jags over the years and never sorry that I did. Except when I let them go. Great cars in my opinion.
Congratulations!
