Is this a high metallic paint? Maybe it has platinum flakes in it...?
The paint even looks good on the cardboard.Did you guy's look at the paint on the battery tray? Beautiful job so far
This has become one of my favorite paint colors, the way it absorbs shadows, and reflects light is awesome. It would be cool to have a ride in this hue someday. The color really pops in the sun. A whole lot of mettalic! Pictures do not do it justice.
Here's a picture of the color in the sun. Not sure how it will look but here goes. This has become one of my favorite paint colors, the way it absorbs shadows, and reflects light is awesome. It would be cool to have a ride in this hue someday.
Looks very close in the pictures. Does yours look close to the factory color Matt? If so this Octane red is different because it looks more like a candy color with pearl in it along with large flakes of mettalic. Nothing like a color from the 60's.
It is close but you can definitely see a difference quite easily. My paint was mixed to match the original and does quite well. You can see the new paint on the fender next to the old oxidized paint on the door.Looks very close in the pictures. Does yours look close to the factory color Matt?
