My Next Victim

It is close but you can definitely see a difference quite easily. My paint was mixed to match the original and does quite well. You can see the new paint on the fender next to the old oxidized paint on the door.

So what's the plan on painting the rest of it? Other than finishing the quarter patch it doesn't look like it needs much work. Should be a fairly easy job.

I hope to finish the rest of the metal work by February so it can be painted this spring.

All masked, in the booth ready to spray. Just waiting for tomorrow and 80 degrees.

Well Peter if he brings it to AZ no reason to wait till spring!:poke:
What you feel like finishing the metal work too?? I’m actually very much looking forward to finishing it, I just need to find time. Besides the front clip I've Already had the trunk-lid and the skirts painted so really it’ll just be the roof, doors, rockers and quarters that will need to be painted and since my guy has already painted the other half and he’s 3 miles from my shop it only makes sense for him to do it.
If you were a lot closer I would try to make you paint my Road Runner though!

Put her out under my solar heat lamp to cure for a week or so then color sand & buff.

I know the color sand and buff will take a good paint job and make it great, but it looks really good already.

Color sanding about done. Next is buffing until it outshines the sun! Or as close as possible.
