My Unicorn, eh?

That must have been tough to do. Glad it will live on, and I’m sure Scott will be guiding you through it.
I had a dream about Scott a few weeks back. It felt very very real, maybe it was in another dimension. I haven't had anything like that happen ever that I can think of. It came out of no where it seemed too.

I was in a garage it was barely lit(after being there yesterday i am sure it was his garage), and in walked Scott looking 10 years younger wearing some wild looking Red SRT shirt, and khaki cargo shorts. It was freezing. We chatted about life and whos got what cars and that I was getting the 4 speed soon. It felt so real, I even recall asking him like, you know you are dead right dude? In true Scott form he acknowledged it but, brushed it off as no big deal and didnt wanna dwell on it. We wrapped up our conversation and he walked out of the garage and out of sight. Then I woke up. Like WOW WTF WAS THAT!!! As I drove the kids to school, the Sunrise that morning was absolutely amazing. For the first time since he passed, I accepted it.

I take the dream as one last visit to let me know he made it to his destination and is at peace.

Great news and start a build/project thread.
With all due respect, this thread is where the car's progress should be kept.
Scott gave Wyatt his blessing in his dream, and he is watching and smiling...
Scott is at peace knowing Wyatt has the Unicorn,eh?

Kudos to Wyatt reviving this thread and the car.

This 1966 Monaco will be at the 2026 Power Tour.
WILL be or HOPE to be? That is the question, as I know it will be alot of work, then with you working on your other projects, and family and all. WOOOHOOO!! Thats great news though Wyatt, I really hope you push yourself and make it happen then take it down the track to see what it does when its done. I guess its in your neck of the woods then? I would suggest that you make a sign in memory of Scott too, and that its a factory 4-speed so people don’t walk by it like its just another green car.

The car WILL BE there. Gearing up to go get the rest of the parts/parts car. Another engine, and whatever else I can grab/fit into the Durango and donor car.

Do I have alot on my plate? Always. But its the 100th anniversary of RT66 - tied into the hot rod power tour, starting locally AGAIN? Gotta do it, for SCOTTIE B!
