I gotta thank amazinblue for that clip. It's been years since i've seen one of those ads.
The radio station began my jr yr in h.s. The d.j. Arthur Penhollow was there over 30 yrs. Kelly was a Detroit icon for years doing those commercials. May have been in a movie or two. Her brother is currently starring in one of those cop shows and married to my "name that girl".
I gotta believe amazinblue in zeroing in on our girl.
yeah, I know who she is from the clues as i could not make the face. but, i will let it ride for "Old 98's" sake

Her first tv series launched the career of the craziest comedian of the last 35 yrs.
The second tv series ended tragically.

First big TV series starred this nut case.
He went to a Birmingham Mi. H.S.
Second TV series, My Sister Sam, ended whent he younger sister actress was killed by a lunatic fan.
She has been married to this guy for years!

His sister Kelly Harmon was famous locally for the TV commercials for WRIF radio station. Amazinblue provided a clip in earlier post.
Next up is one from my graduation class. Later.

i put up Kelly Harmon to get the Last Name out.
Tom Harmon, "old 98" is a Michigan Wolverine football legend. Pam married Mark and that clue was what helped me.

One more in the H.S. category?
This one graduated in my class of '72 but nobody really remembers her. She's listed as an alumni but is not in my yearbook. Talk about flying under the radar. I seem to recall a very slender hippy type chick our sophomore year. No one on the football team knew of her. I think she left school before senior year to start a modeling career. This was shot senior year.
In a year she was a playmate, had several guest appearances in tv shows through the '70s but best known for one particular scene in the most iconic comedy of the '70s.

guess not the more i ponder ...that actress was older than 20 (in 1974) and her scenes werent that iconic tho the movie was.
oh well .. all that and i'm stumped. lets see who gets this one

One last hint tonight. She went to Michigan State. Not a cheerleader at "Moo U", but she played one in this movie.
That sure looks like Animal House to me, but I have no idea what her name is, I think she played Babs.
