Name that girl

Knew I could count on you guy's. First aired on 11/11/60.

Age 75. Brooklyn-born. Entertainer, actor, film director. One of the most successful ever at her main gig.

Should be EZ for the "oldtimers" like me to get her as the 1960's-70's-mid 1980's (by then she was an "icon") she was everywhere .. BUT still may be a bit more challenging if you were born in 1970's or later.

She's still going strong, relatively speaking, as she reaches 3/4 century mark.

Probably about age 9-10 or so here.

This must be an easy one, it's the first one I've known in quite a while.

Yes, easy for us old guys. I have driven past her house (mansion actually) many times on the way to work in California. Sorry if that clue gives it away, but I don't think it will.

A lot of you guys have #524 ID'd now.

Guess we'll see if one of our "youngsters" here (anybody under 45) chimes in later today.

My kids .. both girls even, both born in mid 1980's, had NO clue who she was from this pic .. they DO know her body of work and easily know her adult face mainly from the movies. :)

My mom (age 78 now) .. could NOT get enough of this lady in the 1960's .. she still has a buncha of her vinyl (gotta be a least a dozen of 'em) from that era. :)

That last pic is "BS" (isn't it?)

Yes, complete "BS" :) :poke:

Barbara "Barbra" Streisand.

One of the few people alive to win a Grammy, Oscar, Tony, and Emmy. sold a gazillion records .. almost everything she ever put out either gold or platinum.

Like her or not (mainly her politics I'd guess), I think she's obviously very talented. Heck, I even like many of her songs .. though through the 80's I heard "Evergreen" at about 100 weddings.

Age 74 now.

I guess you can call her an entertainer .. though its more of the reality TV genre. One of the highest paid women in entertainment .. no kidding. Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame and everything.

Before all that, she had a "serious" professional career .. a real job doing real work. Kinda stumbled into this gig she has now about 20 years ago and never looked back.

Here in her mid 20's. More clues later if this bogs down.

yes #537 is still on the air. By the pic of her in younger years you wouldn't guess she's the same person in her public persona today. guess you cant judge a book by its cover as the old saying goes. :)
