Name that girl

Its raining.

Time to surf and listen to tunes but I can't decide.

Janet Jackson?
Jermain Jackson?
JJ Cale?
JJ Wilson?
Jamey Johnson?

when rain stops maybe youll find that '69 "Poncho" that can "uniquely" announce youve arrived. But u need some Janis Joplin to set the right vibe

A lot of people know this lady already .. again the "usual suspects" (including some of your "better halfs" that are pretty good at this game too -- gentlewomen and scholars :) ) so to speak so thanks for letting some other folks see if they wanted to try their hand.

answer will be posted tomrorrow morning :)

It's tomorrow morning - still don't know. Or, do you mean tomorrow tomorrow?

i mean Aug 17. :)

Lotta clues have been provided ..properly so .. to help with the sleuthing if you do decide to ponder it longer.

For anyone else still working on it but maybe new to the 'rules", since we operate on the honor system, if anyone wants to declare "No Mas" (i sure have had to do it on occasion) and drop out of the game (e.g "cheat" :) ), just "google search" the image itself and the lady will come up instantly.

please just keep answer to yourself in that case so the detective work can continue till the end for folks following the bread crumbs.

#537 is Judith Scheindlin. Judge Judy.

for anyone NOT familiar with this lady, see was a REAL family court judge (before that a lawyer) in Manhattan, 60 Minutes did a profile on her in early 90's, some producer saw it can gave her a "reality" show like the then very popular "People's Court"

Where Judge Wapner in PC was a no-nonsense "grandfatherly" curmudgeon .. well Judge Judy took it all to a new level ..

here's 3 minutes but after 30 seconds you'll get the gist .. and then you'll ask WHERE for 20 years do they keep finding people who KNOW what's gonna happen to them in front of that lady ... SMH here.

Number 1 show in daytime TV .. 15 million a year salary for her, no DOUBT and no matter what we think, people like watching her show and makin' "new ones" for people everyday. So in her mid 50's, fortune smiled on Family Court Judge Scheindlin -- and made her filthy rich.

rapidtrans was first to get her, Big_John, 69CoronetRT, and 65sporty PM'd me. Folks chimed in and tried to help with some clever, neat hints. gentlemen and scholars all of you. Mrs. 65sporty is reported to have actually gotten her -- she's good with faces alone .. so a "gentlewoman" and scholar award goes to her for addin' to the fun.

as to the hints the "JJ" stuff was a name-related, time slot for the show gave ya daytime TV, the '69 "Poncho" Pontiac "The Judge", and a couple others I gave, etc. to help people along too.

If you didnt recognize her (she looked familiar but I couldnt place her honestly) from a 50 year old photo, the best way to solve this MAY have been "follow the money" .. highly paid, 74 yr old, reality TV stars who are women might have been good place to start/narrow the search.

So was the reference to "raining"
"Don't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining." is one of her famous phrases and the title of her book.

Last game for me for a while. been fun. thanks.

Age 38. Actor. Interesting career for her.

Child model, but in adulthood she took off like a rocket from the small screen drama that's STILL on (it didnt end well with this show .. the one that put her on the map), into a couple successful movie roles, then, some bombs, some more bombs and she's not on screen as much.

Rumored to be a "diva" and therefore difficult to work with. Not dissin' her .. dont know nuthin' about her beyond what I read .. but again she's not in much these days .. could be by her own choice vs. that diva talk.

Anyway, about age 8 here -- and honestly she's totally recognizable to me here. I guessed her just from this pic.

Yes. Katherine Heigl.

Grey's Anatomy fame (or infamy if we believe the stories).

I only know her from ONE movie (I've never seen one episode of Grey's Anatomy) with Seth Rogen "Knocked Up" that my kids dragged me to a decade ago.. oh and that rom-com flick she did with Gerard Butler that was actually pretty good too.

"Team 65sporty" got her first via PM yesterday but let it run. Thanks guys :)

I couldn't figure it out, so I googled the picture and got the name. Still didn't know who it was ....

this was a Millennial play .. my kids know her WELL and even I recognized her as a 8 year old .. so i was trying NOT to put too many "senior citizens" here. :)

Could be Ms. Heigl has had her "five minutes" .. but for a while there she was a blazin a trail across the Hollywood landscape .. then fizzled.

she's still young and has money .. plenty of stuff she can do if this acting thing doesnt cut it for her.

"27 Dresses" is one of hers. Yes, she is rumored to be one of the worst to work with on a set.

Age 43. Actor. Here in her early teens I think. I never heard of/recall seeing her until "Alonzo" made her famous (that's a hint :) )

One more, an EZ one like #558 I think cuz of the eyes and less so the clues.

Age 43. Actor (mostly TV but some films), businessperson, and model. Quite well-know. Ninth grader here so maybe age 14?

What the heck .. just cuz I stumbled over her photo and recognized her by her smile immediately.

Turned 50 this year. Actor and model. Stardom then controversy (activism and "bad boy" spouse). Canadian by birth but became US Citizen (didnt know that).
