I first knew of her in Love Actually from 2003.
My typical MO for that one ..didn't wanna do what I thought was a "girlie" flick, women in my life made me do it, turned out I liked it. Family Holiday favorite at my house ever since.
Other mainstream stuff was two or three of the Pirates of the Caribbean, The Imitation Game, Atonement, Pride & Prejudice, and other period pieces that makes use of her proper British accent.
A ton of other stuff, which I admit to never have seen. I like her. Maybe that's why I recognized her at age 13.
I had to ask Mrs. Big John if she knew this actress and she was quite familiar with her. Seems her son (my step-son) had a crush on her for years.
I still don't know her... and of that list above, I've watched exactly two of her movies... Jack Ryan and the Imitation Game (which was really good). Never cared enough to get more than ten minutes into the Pirates movies, so that's most likely why I don't recognize her.

Out of all of those movies you had in that picture, I have heard of 2 of them, and haven't seen either of those! I'm going back under my rock now.
Age 54, Actor. Born in Germany but to an active duty US military family. Grew up in Kentucky though. Active in the entertainment business since 1991.
Television is this woman's forte. A specific but very popular otherworldly genre mostly, and mostly on one particular franchise where she's best known and won industry awards for her character portrayal.
But she's done other types of TV genre. Recently she did return to her signature role after almost 20 years since leaving it when that series ended its seven-year run.
You can say the "band is back together" - albeit all of them are senior citizens - for another trip around the galaxy one last time this season.
We've had her here on FCBO in other threads before in costume. But this photo alone as a pre-schooler of her might prove futile in getting her.

Wow. You went deeeeeep with this one. I had to do some sleuthing to find her. I never really watched any of those franchises but knew what you were hinting at.

Got her. Used the clues and realized I skipped her series, and was thinking about the ones before and after. I recognized her after I figured out who she was.
I've seen her, but I couldn't tell you where, and as usual I didn't know who she was, never heard of her, and haven't seen anything she has been in.

Ryan came on the Voyager series, which ran for its planned seven years from 1995 to 2001. She was formerly a "Borg" drone (fans know who the Borg are), an assimilated human that was liberated from the collective.
Joined the crew of the star ship Voyager, and became one of the franchises most popular (and maybe its "Hottest") character. I think they had to sew her into that costume.

Picard was captain of of the Enterprise in The Next Generation (TNG) series from the late '80's, and Paramount put him (and now most of TNG characters now up there in age in real life) in one of the many spinoff series of the franchise.
Age 22 as "Miss Illinois" pageant winner. Came in 4th at "Miss America" the next year

Now the "Picard" series streaming on Paramount with TNG cast .. Jeri is the "baby" of the bunch at age 54.

My handle is based off Picard's character when he was assimilated, Locutus. I even have a figurine of him as a Borg. I was part of the Mob gaming clan my buddy had, so I created LocuMob, and have used it for decades.

Talented, troubled .. always in the news though. I don't know a thing she made. I do know her face though -- even below at age 8.
We'll give it couple days and see how she does.
