#1,652 Kelly LeBrock

One of the "it" girls of 1980's.

First exploded on the Hollywood scene in The Woman in Red, a rom-com starring Gene Wilder in 1984. A year later she was in Weird Science. These were her two biggest films.

Did a few more things, married Steven Segal and started a family, divorced him 5-6 years later in the mid 1990's. Then decided to retire and take care of her family on a farm.

Came back to acting in 2021 and guess working when she feels like now.

I lied .. I had two more in the game file. So one last bonus game before "retirement".

In recognition of the Big Game, I am gonna try something new. Might be a bit difficult but the verbal clues could be important.

Two "girls", with one "guy" in common. You need THREE answers to "win".

Girl A, 58 Years old, Actor, American. A-lister, highest paid female actor in the world a couple of times, worldwide recognition, award winning, spanning almost the whole genre .. sci fi, action, comedy, light drama, probably 50+ movies since 1987.

Girl B, 35 Years old, Actor, American. Doesn't have same level of stardom, but may one day. Been in lotsa things, recognized even as a teenager for her acting talent. Another actor with roles in all types of movies.

Girl A starred in a 2009 rom-com movie (no personal scandals, but people still talk about one of their PG-13 rated "cheese cake/beefcake" scenes in that movie) with the Guy Girl B is now very happily married to.

The Guy met Girl B in a movie she was in with him, they married, and now four lovely kids later they are going strong. The 2011 movie was a clunker and the guy jokes about it. Didn't hurt him career-wise one bit.

So yeah, about The Guy. Actor, age 46, and Canadian by birth. He's a very successful actor and entrepreneur.

He's also known worldwide, definitely an A lister, mainly for his action hero/anti-hero roles (starring and supporting roles) mainly in the comic book character world. Still has range to cover the comedic roles that often come his way.

This game may be all or nothing. Meaning, you get any one of them, you'll probably get them all. Might have to work at it. You don't get any one of them, you may not get any of them.

Girl A was easy. And the Guy was a little harder, but the clues gave him away. Because I don't keep track of "who is married to who", a quick question to Mrs. Big John gave me the answer to Girl B.

Used the clues, and bing bing bing, I got all three. Girl A I believe was featured earlier in this thread, I recognized the picture but still couldn't place her. My friend Kim got her in seconds. Girl B and her hubby were quickly solved after that.

Thanks so much Ray, I appreciate you doing most of the leg work of this thread, it's always entertaining.

thank you Scott for your time and attention chief.

I can't patch a quarter panel, or dial in a Carter AVS, but I can help us pass the time around this little part of our hobby .. with some of our better halfs/kids with us sometimes joining the non-car fun.

anyway, yeah, A is a repeat but i thought it was a different kiddie pic .. she seems to be a fun gal though.

I got girl A from the picture. I haven't even heard of the movie that she was in with the Guy, and I don't know who he is. Girl B I have heard of, but I didn't get her.

I'll wrap this up tonight.

Last hint. If you didn't see the movie it still may not help. This is a racy as it got in a PG-13 world. But the actors still had to film it..

Girl A and The Guy in the 2009 rom-com. Darn thing made over $300M at the WW box office. cost only $40M to make, so a few folks saw it and it probably made money.

#1,667 Girl A - Sandra Bullock, Girl B - Blake Lively, The Guy - Ryan Reynolds

Sandra .. she's big. Speed, Miss Congeniality, Gravity. Her 2009 movie with the Guy was The Proposal.

Blake has had fewer starring roles/movies in total than Sandra but she's good. She was in The Town (played Affleck's girfriend), Savages, and the Age of Adeline are the things I know her best for.

Her hubby, Ryan Reynolds, below was Green Lantern, a mighty flop in 2011. He made up for with the Dead Pool movies (and many others) and Mint Mobile, a wireless company he owns part of.

i was wrong about girl #1
girl #2 never heard of here and only her husbands name from a cel phone commercial.

Its been a year almost since we started a half year of this one. Later today, time for another summertime run for anyone interested?

Recall, with respect, for us 10 or so "die-hard" players of the game (i.e, identity puzzles like this game) and for causal observers/ new people who might pick it up:

1. Its supposed to be a fun diversion .. emphasis on "fun" .. that a few of our "non-gear head" family and friends like to play along too. And they are usually good at it.

2. These womens' "politics" is not really relevant .. like 'em, hate 'em is a personal choice but tends not to have anything to do with what they looked like as youngsters or teenagers compared to when they were/are all grown up.

3. we tend to pick them given their exposure in popular print/digital media and/or nationally-recognized music/entertainment/news venues. Sometimes they are known for "cheesecake", sometimes they are famous for other "newsworthy" reasons other than swimsuit pics.

4. Hate their guts? Don't like their looks? Cool .. but really any need to burn 'em down for that? Perhaps not.

5. Clues and pics. That's how we I/D them. We can also "google" their pics directly and find them with NO other work, but that's "cheating" so to speak.

6. Cant/don't feel like sleuthing it out? Cool. Lotta room under the "rock" :poke:. I find myself there often. I dunno them from their little kid pics alone. I can't then claim to have "solved" the mystery woman puzzle if I "cheat".

However one plays the game is one's own business (free country, subject to forum rules), but PLEASE if you know her, just maybe say you know and then let the game run for others who wanna exercise their brains for a few hours/days trying to solve it.

It's not a competition.
