Name that girl

@2,135 Sydney Sweeney

We (e.g., people like me who grew up in the 1960's) tend not to know people born in the 1990's. I would not have know this girl either ... had I not gone back and watched The_White_Lotus on HBO.

We did the two "girls" in orange. Ms. Sweeney is the one in green circle, obvioiusly. I watched because of Coolidge -- "Strifler's Mom". Daddario and Sweeney came along for the ride, so to speak.

Sweeney's in demand now. Better get it while she's young and shapely. Hollywood is fickle about the stuff, unfortately for women.

Some of Sweeney's stuff. Haven't seen any of it other than White Lotus, except that Tarantino movie (but I don't remember her character).

She was in a Rolling Stones video, that's where I know her from.

New Game.

I actually had held this one since the beginning to this game years ago. Respectful request?

This one is very unpleasant as a back story. I hope/asking us to try to stay away from/not dwell on the unpleasantness/cirumstances of her death, please?

Died in 1969. Age 26. Actor and model. Born in Texas.

Career was short, some controversial elements (irrespective of how she died) mixed into a few short years in the light.

Pretty face, sexy girl roles mostly, getting more serious recognition near the end of her life. Still more known as a pretty face than a serious, talented thespian.

After modeling gigs/beauty pageants as a teenager, she broke into acting as an extra in the mid 1960's.

One of the stars (in a movie she and her friends were hanging around) notices her for her looks, took a liking to her, they started data, introduced her around, got her on with his agent, etc.

Little by little, she made friends, did some TV, bigger movie roles, and then a couple of mainstream movies. Bigger "pretty girl" parts that also eventually allowed her to act, be funny, do physical action (stunts/comedy) and dramatic stuff.

One I could see/did at a local theater back then as a lad was a Dean Martin movie (old Deano was a secret agent).

The other one was an ensemble piece, that was rated "X" back then (PG today, btw, .. times have changed). It was best selling book, made into a movie, it had sex, drugs, betrayal, etc. All the trashy stuff in Hollywood at the time. Bombed at the box office, but got her noticed (she did a nude scene).

Married a guy in the film business, he himself with a burgeoning career as a director, and then senseless tragedy. 55 years later, its still talked about. My kids know this story ... it was that big.

Below, age 16-17, one with her big modeling break, and the other HS Graduation.

Answer in a few days, or whenever it stops getting traction.
