Really stupid but I am not finding were each hose goes to on the firewall in the manual. A bit of searching the manual over load. It has 4 points for the hoses. Lower left is a water valve. I assume that is the "in point". then were does the "out" from it go? To the next fitting up? and then the last one goes to the water pump? fullsized

I assume with all the heater hose connections, you have a car with AC

But, here's the pic from the '65 manual for a non AC car.

I looked through the '65 FSM and didn't see anything on the heater hose for an AC car. So, something I've kinda figured out is sometimes later cars have these things addressed better in the FSM. I looked through the '66 FSM, figuring it's really close to a '65, but nothing. Then just for laughs, went to a '67 Dodge Polara/Monaco FSM and here's what I found. I'm not sure if this is all the same as the '65, but it may be close enough.

That is the ticket. Got the car 6 days ago and got it running to day. Been running from service manual to parts manual looking at all the goodies. I thought I had it right. Thanks so much and a merry Christmas to you! full size

Yes rear one on engine to water valve, the valve to heater core, then heater core to front on engine.
