Cool (no pun intended) - good to hear.

Was it just slipping and not turning the compressor much? How did you diagnose it?

Just grabbed the radiator fan and spun it. I had it off for a new water pump. Spun too easy and action was loose. Also, car was getting hot, way too easy.

Of course - I was being obtuse and thought you were referring to the COMPRESSOR clutch... my bad.

Most carburetor problems are ignition timing, and most cooling/heating problem are airflow.
Most want to "move more coolant" and it does not fix the problem.
Glad you got it sorted out.
