Wheels before repairs.

What Stan was saying is that the attention was to put new wheels on the car before doing other repairs on the car.

Stan, in this particular case i believe he already had the wheels. Sort of a free pass (sort of).

You can't swap the 71 grille without swapping front bumpers. In 71 Chrysler started using the Newport front bumpers, thus relocating the front tern signal lenses from the grille to the bumper.

Put a 71 Grille into a 69/70 front bumper, and you lose your front turn signals. I just don't want you to waste any $$$.

He is right about the turn signals being relocated, I'm not sure you would want to adapt something that might work in the 71 grille. As far as the surround, they are the same for a 1970 and a 1971 grille
