Well, I looked through all of them. I didn't see it, and can't figure out how to download my favorite. The B-17 named "Aluminum Overcast"
Probably the coolest name ever painted on a bird.

One of my "favorite" images of a B-17 is this one; plane of the "Bloody 100th" took a flak hit under the cockpit, instantly killing the bombardier and navigator. Pilot ordered abandon ship and held the plane steady while the 7 other men could get out. As the last man bailed out the nose of the plane tore off, carrying the pilot with it. Don't think he was planning on that, but, even so, always reminds me of something Jesus said: "Greater love has no one than this, that a person will lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13
