Appears to have non power disc brakes, lots of engine mods on incorrect engine. This is a hot rod that was put together. Need VIN and a better photo of the build sheet. Fury 1 with a 440 not available in '65, big block would be a 426 wedge or a 383. Looks to me like a 318 poly car that was upgraded. Not likely to bring $10k due to the lack of originality to any collector. Some hot rodder might buy it as I doubt this car could be built for much under $10k.

@Davea Lux - are you sure that 426 HEMI was offered? I know that a 426 wedge was, but I've never seen documentation to say that the hemi was available in a C body in 65.

Your are right, offered in the Belvedere, not the fury, furys were all wedges. I will fix the previous post. For informational purposes several hemi belvederes are listed on the following site (type in '65 hemi Belvedere from their home page search bar) www.mydreamcar.online

Cool - and no worries - not trying to be picky. I have great respect for what you bring to this forum. As I've seen quite often in the past, the mix-up happens quite often re info on 65s - since the 65 was the first year where the Fury had transitioned from B body to C body. Even in parts books the Fury is listed as a B body for 65.

Cool door slamming sleeper.
Originality not a concern here and seller does not claim anything is original.
With a 3 inch longer wheelbase than a Belvedere, this Fury I 2 door is just as fast as a Hemi B body and weight is very close too. Making this example perfect for the dragstrip ad local stop light action.
