From the ad: 1970 Plymouth Sport Fury GT | Classic Cars | Guelph | Kijiji

Very rare car. 666 GT's manufactured in 1970 and 1 of 83 sold in Canada. I posted a picture on the VIN so you can confirm that this is a GT and not a clone. Bucket seats, console car. Was an AC car but all the components were removed before I got it. 440 - 4V high performance motor (350 HP) with automatic transmission and posi-trac rear end. Appears to be original motor and transmission and drive line but I have not checked it so cannot confirm. Interior has been redone and car was originally gun metal gray but was white when I got it. As long as I have had it stored in heated garage. In storage now but if you are truly interested I can get it out. Needs a new battery which I will buy but if not sold will wait till spring. I recently noticed some rust building on the trunk floor so wire wheeled it off and there are some pinholes so will need a new trunk floor in the near future. I painted it with rust prohibitor and trunk paint to preserve it as best I could. Also behind the rear window paint is starting to crack and will need to be repaired before long. Other than that everything is good. This car drives very nice. 19 feet long so very smooth ride. Looking for $ 22,500.00 AS IS but open to offers if purchased before winter. Like most others I don't have to sell but I got 4 others in my stable so want to thin out a bit.

The are a lot of things that are not correct for this car. Engine if original should be blue not red. Exhaust manifolds are HP type, car should have log manifolds, aftermarket air cleaner and valve covers, appears to also have an after market intake. Missing A/C compressor, hoses, condenser as noted, probably means that the evaporator is toast. Center caps for the road wheels are incorrect, incorrect custom seat covers, missing exhaust tips. Car has been repainted the wrong color. Seller admits to rust on the rear window channel and pinholes in the trunk floor. In short, this car is a project and not worth anything close to the asking price. Would also want to check the VIN numbers on the engine and transmission. Posted photo of the VIN says it is a 440/350 does not document option code for SFGT. Appears to have full power with buckets and console.

Marko is correct, the factory console cars have the gear position stuff blocked out because is shows on the console. One more thing to add to the list.

I know they used red on the bigblocks for a long time in Canada but don,t know when they stopped doing that ...........?

Was for sale 3 yrs ago. I took this pic June 21 2017. For the right price it would be a fun car but sure has deteriorated. I did speak to the seller a few weeks ago but I suspect he has good money in the car.
