(((((( 1 of only 65 yellow and black interior )))))).

How do they know…..?

In 2020 I think a rusty running 200000 mile big block Fury convertible that needs quite a bit is a 3500 fury.
This one looks mostly solid that I could drive while wrenching . I personally think it's a 6 thousand dollar car but obviously would try for less and after I viewed the car .

Maybe Galen Govier decoded it? I do not however think that the 1 of 65 number is accurate, I think there may have been more.

If there were 1340 made it's likely only 65 made. The options and accessories report will show how many made, no?

Remove the Super Coupe 15X8 wheels complete with centers and trim rings knock a 1,000 off the asking price,LOL!!

Trunk floor is rotted out, lower quarter on driver side is also showing rust out. Bubbling on the lower lip of the hood, I suspect on close examination, this car has a repaint with a lot of bondo over rust on the lower body, need a close up inspection, but with the rust that shows, this is a $2.5k-$3k car. If there is significant rust on the underside it will be less.

All this has going for it is the big block as I've seen quite a few small block rusted out from original to projects convertibles going for 1.5k to just over 2k.

ASAIK they made 1952 Fury III convertibles in 1970 model year. I don't know of any break down by color or other options. I wrote to the historical records people and was told all production info was lost in a storage facility fire.

While all the records were thrown away you can still get an accurate estimate based on percentages of what was built from the year end reports ..
A couple guys here have those reports

I'd be very interested to see those stats.

How do you think we got the numbers on the Polara convertibles of 1970? While not 100% guaranteed spot on it is the best we will ever get.
I know you've been tracking the 70 Fury convertibles, all or just 440 cars?
