I saw the same car on FB for $4500!!!
I'll look for it again, as I'm not an expert navigating Facebook.

So what's the value of the original car in this add? I know he's asking 9800 or 9000 depending on where you find the car listed, but what's it's value? 3500? 5500?

To get a good idea on value, a detailed inspection of the car would be necessary. It has been stored for a very long time and it will need everything and I suspect it is loaded with critters who have left their deposits and smell everywhere. The cost to restore this car will be well in excess of it current value. On the plus side, it appears to be mostly complete with a numbers matching engine, the frame rails in the photos while not shown in entirety, do not show a lot of rust. This is also a fairly rare Mopar. Ball park estimate in its current condition, $5.5k to $7.5k. This assumes a rebuildable engine with no major rust out of the rear window channel and trunk floor. Car would appear to be #4 to a #5 depending on what is found on a detailed inspection.

Three years ago a #3 car would have fetched that money, and we would have been complaining about it.
