Awesome! Thanks for stepping up to the plate, and saving these cars!
No it will not be a donor. If I don’t restore it I will sell it to someone who would. That’s why I bought it. I didn’t want to see it parted out.I have to ask. Is the S/23 going to be a donor car or are you going to restore both?
That’s right, it was Mark he is a very good guy I really liked his car trailer.Ha, and I was in Missoula last weekend.
That looks like Marks set up ...
Isn't it interesting to see how white the center of the road wheel is and that it has white line tires.

Curious, on my '70 the rim ring was not white, it was argent. My tires were narrow whitewalls.Isn't it interesting to see how white the center of the road wheel is and that it has white line tires.
Yes in both pics, it does sen to be the same shade as the car. I wonder if there is any early color pic of this car from back in 1970?Could it be yellow on this promo car , same color as the car ?
Makes me wonder if the car's engine was built with a little looser tolerances so that when tested by magazines etc, it would have a bit more "pep".The test car used a quart of oil per tank, was this standard back in the day, or specific to that car???
You're probably right Gary, anything to get a favorable review and hopefully sales, thx for the comment.Makes me wonder if the car's engine was built with a little looser tolerances so that when tested by magazines etc, it would have a bit more "pep".
