original bucket seats for imperial -69 ?

Sure, they shared the same frame, but as long as he is searching for the correct '69 Imperial seats, it's indeed a tough search unless your're going to redo the seats anyway. But the pattern is not available through legendary etc. It has to be custom made by a upholsterer...

My '67 has the enlarger and reclines on the passenger side.
I see the '69 doesn't have the 2nd handle at the back of the door so that it can be opened from the rear seat.:D

At this point, the seats would have to be redone anyway, even if you were to find some in Saddle leather. As long as you have fragments of the original, it can be done by your upholsterer in any color you wish. The French seaming around the recessed panels in the pattern can be tricky and the transition area connecting the face panels should be vinyl as per factory. An intact seat back is a must, though, as those are only shared with the '70 Imperial and the 300 Hurst, making them rare by definition. The lower seat panels are being reproduced by Bob Baker at abcmoparts.com. Don't forget to order the trim covers for the seat release levers.

It indeed doesn't have the second lever. Maybe because the whole fuselage design is more for the customer who drives the car himself. The '67 model year looks more like it's made to be driven in ;)

My seats are in good shape, but they stink like a rodent nest... My main problem is the seat foam. I can't find new ones. That would be a big problem for every one who plans to reupholster this seats.

You're right. I was lucky to find a guy who was converting his car to some kind of restomod and he wanted to lighten the car for better performance by using some other type of seat and foregoing the rear seat altogether. The seats looked like this when I got them and the foam had not been exposed to the elements (or rodents). He sold me some other stuff like the vacuum trunk release and side mirror, and crated it up in a very solid wooden crate. I probably gave him a few hundred bucks; it was money well spent.

As far as i know there is only 2 2d lebaron in Finland and i haven't seen the other one.

Only two 2-door Imps in FI? Indeed? Do you mean '69 models, or all the Fuselage years? There was a pretty rough '71 Imp Lebaron Coupe for sale in Kristiinankaupunki in 2014. The guy asked something like 10K € for it. The interior was shot, but he claimed it to be good mechanically. Rebuilt motor and tranny.

I just answered the question he asked and noted the seat pattern was unique. Also, the rear seat backs are shared by 1969 & 1970 model Imperials and the 300Hurst, contrary to what another post here claimed, I believe (unless there is some very subtle difference I have not noticed).

That is a Very Nice Imp. For the seats check out the Imperial mailing List classifieds and Murray Park is a good guy too. Good Luck!

Thank you everyone for usable information!
I'll let you know when my interior project moves on
