So you would have a great canvas to do that beautiful lace job on.

That's amazing ,,the talent here on this forum never ceases to amaze me.

I agree.
And as time goes on I should be getting better, but I find I'm having a harder time just installing replacements parts!

Accidently got in too far with the wet sanding. Sanded some blue away. Re sanded everything in 320...will fix the blue and reclear tomorrow. Shame...I had half the roof done in 2000 grit already. I didn't put enough clear over the blue..but there is 3 layers under it...over the black. Should be fine.

Great job on your roof!I have similar rust on the roof of my 65 fury and would like to know what you did as far as prep work before paint.
