Wow, that top photo is old. Looks to be about 1910 to 1915.

Cox DeSoto, 2245 E. 11th, Tulsa OK. streamline moderne.

Too much to hope it was still there. Newer structure "resembles" the old bldg but its not situated correctly via the 1967 aerial.

circa 1940's

Burke DeSoto, 6455 Western Ave At 65th, Chicago. IL. Another streamline moderne.

I think main building on the corner is still there. Parts on left side torn down though, rebuilt back from the street to create a lot with Western Ave frontage.

circa 1940's

Was hoping this old gal would still be there. Alas, apparently not.

"The Indian Trail Trading Post in Lupton, Arizona, was opened in 1946 by Max and Amelia Ortega and operated near the state line for almost twenty years until it was razed for Interstate 40.

This photochrome postcard has as much detail as you would need to see in a Southwestern trading post: a station selling a gallon of gas for as low as 27 cents, pumps with glass globes on top, Indian and western designs painted on the main trading post building, and a mid-1950s Ford station wagon out front."

I suspect the concrete pad in the trees was it
