Finally did some cruising with the top down

Stopped Clarissa at an empty fruit and veg stand by the roadside a week ago as I thought it might make a nice picture. I didn't know then that two minutes later she wouldn't start :-(. Battery completely drained. A new alternator fixed that though, and now she's showing a healthy 14.2 volts. All's good!

I'm going to bring us back 3 months, to when I first visited Medina in Rockford. Here is a photo I took that day -- three senior Dodges at Wyatt's shop. As of July, the green one is no more and the FK5 has gotten back proper FK5 backup corner lights.

I lived in Rockford briefly (six months or so) in 1989 when my Dad worked for Sundstrand. It gets cold there in the winter and I grew in Pittsburgh.
