Hi Carsten, looks like you've contributed a nice batch of 1970 convertibles to this thread. In addition to the Polara that we've already discussed, I see one '70 Newport, two '70 300, and two '70 Fury III verts.

--> I know those pics are now old, but can you share more info about any of these 1970 ragtops?

Now this sixfth one looks like a '70 300 'vert with a '71 NYer front clip added and the side trim removed?

Finally, is this 300 the one that JPMODL sold a few months ago?

Dan showed his "new" tx9 black 300 he bought from John.
All the other cars you have linked in are cars living in sweden from one carshow in Västeras.

What kind of information do you need? Most interesting is the EB7 dark blue 1970 300 vert, factory u-code 440, console car.

All these pics were from one year. I could post dozen of CV pics from every year in sweden.

show me were my original posting was. I need to know the year of the show. I am sure I have more pics of it. Out of my head I do not remember it so it wasn't an impressive car for sure. Definetly has a New Yorker grill

Thank you! The postings were all on pp.5-7 of this thread. I was wondering whether they are still alive, and if there happen to be fender tags floating around for the registry

I am sure they are all alive as pics were taken in sweden 2012 at the "power meet" in Vesteras.

Unfortunatly no Fender tag pics.
It is great for pics that the hoods are closed.
Bad point is: you usally don't get fender tag pics ;-(

I drove Poppy, my '70 convertible, in the countryside for almost 4 hours today with @Imperialist67. I am sort of breaking her in after the top-end rebuild that her 318 just underwent. Wonderful back roads and excellent pavement, and she loved it -- she drove really nicely. The new exhaust, with the correct bends, works well too.

Here are a couple of photos I took at a vineyard where we stopped for a bite. As you can see, the weather cooperated!

Weather was actually comfortable with low humidity, a rare event in August in these parts. This car was a great way to spend it. The Polara is sounding better than ever...……….

A parts car that I picked over but brought back to life by throwing my old parts on it and doing some work to get it running. It ran great. I sold it to some young guys on a mission. I seen it on craigs with some 70's style spray bomb panel paint scheme. Hope its still out there.
